Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

Within its city borders, Evanston has over 100 dining options. It’s a respected and varied scene, offering everything from cheap eats (it is a college town, after all) to sophisticated establishments. Here’s a smattering: Bennison’s Bakery has been serving up pastries — especially donuts, cinnamon rolls, and danishes — for 75 years. Blind Faith Cafe is a creative vegetarian/vegan restaurant. Wings and more at Buffalo Joe’s. Venezuelan street food — particularly arepas — from La Cocinita. Small-batch donuts from DB3 Donuts, with rotating flavors each month. Fresh baked bread (and sandwiches made with said bread) at Hewn. Farm-to-table small plates at Found Kitchen & Social House. The Peckish Pig is a brewpub just on the Evanston side of the suburb’s border with Chicago. Classic cocktails at Ward Eight.

Space was clean and in a charming, walkable city. The view in the living room was beautiful. The neighbors were quiet. The coffee in the condo and in the lounge was surprisingly delightful. Our group of friends had a great time, and this would be a perfect place for a family.

We really enjoyed staying at Michelle's place. It was a perfect home away from home while visiting Northwestern University. The area had many cafes and restaurants. The place was spacious with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary suite had a very firm mattress. But this did not bother us at all. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, glasses, plates and utensils. There's a coffee maker and we were able to try some local coffees in the area. We enjoyed having family dinners on the bar style, raised table and stools. The view of the sunset from the balcony was amazing each night with purples, pinks and trees - fantastic views of Evanston. The place is great for watching movies with a long couch lounger, cozy seats and cup holders! The area is a perfect blend of city and nature with Lake Michigan nearby. We will definitely be back.

Perfectly clean and easy to fit 7 adults for a weekend. Towels, toiletries, etc all adequate. Mihyun was great communicator. Kitchen could use MORE WINE GLASSES and more water glasses. There were only 7 glasses total so every time I used a glass I had to wash it for the next person. Not a deal breaker but was a bummer since we are all wine drinkers and had to, god forbid, drink red wine out of a "cheap" champagne glass! No other complaints, though, so would totally book again for a visit to Northwestern.
